Pantene () is a brand of hair care products owned by Procter & Gamble. The product line was first introduced in Europe in 1945 by Hoffmann-La Roche, which branded the name based on panthenol as a shampoo ingredient. It was purchased by Procter & Gamble in 1985 in order to compete in the "beauty product" market rather than only functional products. The brand's best-known product became the 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioning formula, Pantene Pro-V (Pantene Pro-Vitamin). The product became most noted due to an advertising campaign in 1989 in which fashion models said, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful."

The following article by Suzana Rose in explains why Pantene is not cruelty-free, "Although Pantene as a company does not test their finished products on animals, they nevertheless pay others to test their products on animals “where required by law”. This means that Pantene is not cruelty-free."

"Have been using these wipes for years. However recently I have found the quality of the fragranced wipes to be absolutely awful. They used to be fairly thick and strong, now they are thin, tear easily, and come out of the pack in clumps of more than one. Obviously major changes have gone on and certainly not for the better. A very very poor substitute"

"Tesco Dover. Rude snotty young lady at the pharmacy. I did not know you were allowed to wear an inch thick of makeup and huge blue sparkly petri dish nails, instead of gloves, when handling medical supplies. Oh wait, the nails would pierce through the gloves anyway. Also, a thank you goodbye goes a long way, instead of just turning around as if you were so busy being a till sales person. I ended up there because the local pharmacy was closed between 1 and 2, I thought I'd give tesco a go. 20 minute wait for one box of antibiotics, and be served like that, not coming back."

"At the Three Bridges store yestereday afternoon there were hoardes of pupils from the nearby Hazelwick school roaming the shop, none of whom were buying anything, social distancing or wearing masks. This is tolerated by the store, who have security at the entrance. They are there to catch people leaving without paying for a tin of beans, but seem unable to prevent people entering their private space and exposing everyone to COVID risk."

"I placed my normal order & click & collected. Was told no replacements, got home discovered full bottle of Prosecco replaced with half bottle, then the fun began despite me never ordering the half bottle I shop from my favourites two extremely rude Scottish customer service people one a manager! Told me I had and would not refund me. I can take it back an hour round trip to return one item.To be called a idiot & liar by constantly telling me that I had done it. which was impossible was not and still is not in my favourites which I shopped from has made me very annoyed. When did Tesco become so greed obsessed and unpleasant and rude. I ordered 150/175 a month not any more. I will shop elsewhere. Thanks to Steve Dunne Manager & Robbie two unhelpful rude joke of a customer service!!! employees"
